About Me

  • My massage therapy began at the Institute of Natural Therapies in the UP of Michigan where massage and sauna are a way of life! I have passed the required exam issued by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork.   I am a licensed massage therapist in Michigan.  I am continuing my education with various classes intended for earned credits as suggested/required by associations.
  • I have raised four children and worked in many venues over the years, living in Ann Arbor before moving back to Cheboygan, my birthplace.  My husband's business is that of manufacturing and installing residential boat docks in the inland lakes of northern Michigan.  I've worked in almost every aspect of the business and, in my case, having a welder husband has proved to be good practice for my hands!   Of all the jobs I've filled, from office, seamstress, calligrapher, and sales, to owning and running a candle store, massage has been the most satisfying since it is so helpful to people.
  • I am happy to  recommend Dr. Lucile Strom, chiropractor, as she knows the value of warming and gently stretching the muscle fiber (massage) before and after a chiropractic adjustment. The adjustment works easier and stays better. I'm very pleased to have been associated with her for over nine years, as our philosophies are similar.
